The Ventacon D5 Power Supply is a sophisticated unit capable of supporting the Ventacon heated cells for infrared, near infrared and Raman spectroscopies. The power supply incorporates a switched temperature
control circuit. The temperature of the cell is monitored using a
platinum resistance thermometer (Pt100). The sensor output is fed
to a CAL differential proportional controller which switches the output
that energises the heater elements in the Ventacon
range of hot cells. The heater output is DC and is stabilised. SAFETY NOTE The Ventacon D5 Heated Cell Power Supply is powered from mains electricity.
